Employment Law Update: Shared Parental Leave
The new right to shared parental leave is due to come into force on 1 December 2014. This right will enable eligible mothers, fathers, partners or adopters to decide how to share the time off work after their child is born or placed on or after 5 April 2015. ACAS has produced some really helpful guidance on shared parental leave, together with supporting documents including letter templates and a policy.
