Information Commissioner’s Office publishes guidance for companies receiving unwanted marketing

The Information Commissioner’s Office (the ICO) has published some helpful guidance for companies wanting to reduce unwanted direct marketing.

The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 give some limited protection to corporate bodies, which is in contrast to the protection afforded by the Data Protection Act 1998 which only applies to individuals.
