Jackson Reforms to Litigation

25-04-2013 12:19

On 1 April 2013 various changes occurred to the way in which litigation is carried out in England and Wales.  These have come about as a result of a review of the litigation system by Lord Justice Jackson.

The areas affected by the “Jackson Reforms” include: costs, funding, disclosure, case management and offers to settle under the Court Rules.

If you have any questions about the changes or the way in which the reforms are intended to work please contact our commercial litigation department.
