New Copyright Law Exceptions delayed

15-05-2014 09:09

Two of the exceptions to copyright law that were expected to take effect on 1 June 2014 are to be delayed.

We updated our readers on the new exceptions to copyright infringement in our blog on 22 April 2014 which you can refresh your memory with here.

It’s now been announced by the Government that the exceptions in respect of private copying and parody will not now come into force on 1 June but later in the year.  We will keep you updated as further progress is announced.
