In Turning Point Ltd v Norfolk County Council [2012] EWHC 2121 (TCC) (26 July 2012) Norfolk County Council (“the Council”) conducted a public procurement process related to a contract for various drug and alcohol treatment services. Turning Point Ltd (“TPL”) was interested in securing this contract and successfully pre-qualified for the tendering process. The tender process was governed by the Public Contract Regulations 2006 (as amended).

In Squibb Group Ltd v Vertase FLI Ltd [2012] EWHC 1958 (TCC) (10 July 2012) the Technology and Construction Court was asked by the Claimant, Squibb Group Ltd (“Squibb”) to enforce an adjudicator’s award for £167,531.05 against the Defendant, Vertase FLI Ltd (“Vertase”).

In Kazeminy v Siddiqi & Others [2012] EWCA Civ 416 (2 April 2012) the Court of Appeal was asked to consider the construction of a settlement agreement entered into between the appellant, Mr Siddiqi, and the respondent, Mr Kazeminy, and the various companies represented by them to settle proceedings between them.
